On Friday, ES opened with a gap down. The morning session started off strong during A+B period where it looked like nothing was going to stop ES from closing the gap. Buyers would leave disapointed as they left a poor high and partially closed gap. With the large opening initial balance (IB), ES also had a rare day where the IB was not broken.

In the globex session so far ES has trended up but still could open within Friday’s range. ES also remains in a multi-week balance.
