In ES yesterday the morning session started off very balanced and choppy. ES was stuck between the 7600/FS vwap level and the open. Every push down near or just below the open went nowhere, which may have given a clue that ES wanted to break to the upside if it could ever get enough of a push. However, I took a short once the IB high broke and failed to hold. If I didn’t just barely get stopped out I would have only been able to get 1 scale before the other half was stopped out. The move at that point was to get the absorption to the long side and if you held on would bring it to new ATHs. I saw that as a lower possibility but of course you never can know how it will play out. So on to a new day.
Let’s take a look at what to watch out for today and today’s key levels.
